The creator of this magnificent monument was Heinrich LXIII von Reuss, who, following the example of his neighbors from Bukowiec and Kowary, also developed architectural and landscape assumptions around his residence. The castle consisted of a tower, which served as an observation post, and, according to old accounts, there was a knight's hall right next to it. The whole complex was kept by a castellan, who, for a small fee, made the beautiful views of the Karkonosze Mountains and nearby towns available to tourists.
The building has remained in private hands for several years. It is still undergoing renovation to regain its former splendor and is available to tourists who can admire the Karkonosze Mountains in good weather. Two yellow trails are leading to the castle - from Sosnówka and Staniszów, and a blue trail from Marczyce. A parking lot has been arranged for the motorized right outside the entrance to the trail.
